Online Zoom Meeting

Topic: Variable Frequency Drives and motor retrofitting

Variable Frequency Drive technology has been around for years, and the most well-known benefit is the ability of speed control. In this presentation we will dive into the other great benefits of VFDs as well as the best practices for adding VFDs and retrofitting motors.

Presenter: Allison McLaughlin - Logic, Inc. and Dan Messina - ABB

After obtaining a degree in mechanical engineering, Allison has worked in the industrial automation and controls industry for four years. In this time she has focused on improving water and wastewater processes at local municipalities with the implementation of variable frequency drives and other automation equipment.
Spanning nearly three decades, Dan has developed a body of knowledge encompassing industrial automation system design and installation, motor and drive applications, electrical infrastructure maintenance and fieldbus communications.
